Project Overview

Apperception comprises three audio/video loops of differing lengths that are layered together, each video created by a different artist. Each individual piece phases with the other pieces, recombining in a process similar to the ways memories shift and change — each individual memory becoming less distinct as time passes. The outcome is evolving color and spatial combinations that enable elements of nostalgia and surprise.
